LEARNING TO HUMAN
Award-Winning Solo Show
Join Sims Holland on a rollercoaster journey from the depths of addiction to the challenging—and often hilarious—road of sobriety. Speckled with poetry, dotted with dance numbers, and doused in honesty, Learning to Human is a heartfelt exploration of what it takes to reclaim your life.
Raised in Austin, Texas, Holland spent sixteen years running from herself—hopping between New York, Charleston, Los Angeles, and beyond—before finally confronting her addictions eight years ago. She returned home in 2023 to debut this deeply personal story to sold-out audiences and rave reviews. Now she brings her unique blend of comedy, drama, clown, and poetry to Denver Fringe.
